This editorial policy explains how MaidanXI produces its cricket and football coverage. Our goal is to be accurate, useful and fair for the Indian sports fan.
MaidanXI is an independent sports publication. Our articles are produced by the MaidanXI editorial team. Learn more on our About page.
We write original articles, previews, explainers and opinion. We research using reputable sources and official data providers, and we add our own analysis and context. We do not copy or republish content from other publications; where we reference a source, we link to it.
Live scores, tables and fixtures come from third-party data providers and may be delayed or revised. We aim to label data clearly and to distinguish confirmed facts from reports, rumours and opinion.
We work to get things right. If we make a factual error, we correct it promptly and, where relevant, note the update. To report an error, email maidanxinews@gmail.com or use our contact page.
Editorial decisions are made independently of advertising. The site may display ads and may use affiliate or partner links; these do not influence our coverage or verdicts.
Articles carry a byline and a publication date. Our team writes under the MaidanXI masthead, and named contributors may be added over time.
